We’re delighted that our Managing Director Tim Ward has been invited to join the New London Architecture (NLA) Expert Panel on Industrial & Logistics 2021.

The panel will focus on the evolution of the industrial and logistics sectors which support London as a world-leading centre and in its post-COVID recovery.

Tim has thirty years’ experience in logistics and leads our Industrial Intensification team, developing our sustainable logistics expertise, and – within London – looking at how it can support the Capital’s social and economic infrastructure.

Our Research Team has analysed different SIL types from multiple points of view, to gauge the practical, contextual and commercial potential for new multi-use combinations in the context of the New London Plan. This research has recently been quoted and published by the UKWA.

We have also done GLA studies into splitting up and tailoring a masterplan to suit its component communities, layering in new uses and co-locations, and are delivering projects involving multi-level last-mile logistics, and mixes of industrial, residential and retail uses.

NLA panels bring together industry experts to provide thought-leadership on design, development and construction in London and respond to new policies or consultations.

Panels are formed of 12-15 individuals from across NLA membership, representing the public and private sectors across development, design, planning and construction in London.
