Chetwoods wurde von Gazeley mit der Entwicklung des G-Park London Docklands beauftragt, der ersten dreigeschossigen Logistikanlage Großbritanniens. Die Anlage wird mehr als 426.000 m² Nutzfläche über drei Ebenen umfassen und damit eine Mehrfach- oder Einzelmieterbelegung ermöglichen.

Das Gebäude wird als Logistikzentrum der letzten Meile für London und Umgebung genutzt und richtet sich an E-Commerce-, Vertriebs- und Logistikunternehmen.

Die Entwicklung ist die erste ihrer Art in Großbritannien und entspricht den Bedürfnissen der Londoner Wirtschaft und der wachsenden Bevölkerung. G-Park London Docklands nutzt das verfügbare Land, um potenziellen Nutzern den größtmöglichen Raum anzubieten. Mit einem beispiellosen Zugang zur City of London und 5,6 Millionen Menschen, die innerhalb eines 30-minütigen Fahrradius leben, ist dies eine echte Last-Mile-Gelegenheit für eine ultrastädtische Logistik.

Das Projekt ist das erste dreigeschossige Lagergebäude in Großbritannien und wird über Plattformen erschlossen, um LKWs und anderen Fahrzeugen den Zugang zu den einzelnen Ebene zu ermöglichen. Jede Etage umfasst 140.000 Quadratmeter Nutzfläche mit 26 Docktüren und 4 Zugangstüren. Das Projekt-Gelände wird 350 Parkplätze und rund 75.000 m² zusätzliche Büroflächen umfassen. Das Programm wird eine Reihe von Nachhaltigkeitsmerkmalen aufweisen, wie die Bereitstellung elektrischer Ladestationen für Fahrzeuge, Wellness-Initiativen zur Verbesserung des Arbeitsumfelds für Menschen und eine BREEAM Very Good-Bewertung

Chetwoods have been appointed by GLP, to develop G Park London Docklands, the UK’s first three-storey logistics facility. The warehouse will comprise over 426,000 sqft of space over three levels allowing for either multiple or single tenant occupancy.

The building will be used as a ‘last mile’ logistics hub for London and surrounding areas, targeting e-commerce, distribution and logistics occupiers.

The development is the first of its kind in the UK and meets the needs of London’s economy and growing population. G Park London Docklands utilises the land available to deliver the maximum amount of space to potential occupiers. With unparalleled access to serve the City of London and 5.6 million people living within a 30-minute drive, this is a genuine last mile, ultra-urban logistics opportunity.

This is the first three-storey warehouse in the UK and will utilise platforms to allow HGVs and other vehicles to access each level. Each storey will comprise 140,000 sqft of space with 26 dock doors and 4 access doors on each level. The site will contain 350 car parking spaces and around 75,000 sqft of ancillary office space.
