A new £7million John Lewis at home store in Ashford, Kent extends over two floors with the ground and first floor selling areas totalling 39,000 sqft The store includes a customer café and around 200 car parking spaces.
Chetwoods were initially appointed to assist Castlegate Estates develop feasibility studies for retail schemes to attract the attention of Marks & Spencer, Next and subsequently John Lewis.
We were subsequently appointed as lead consultant and coordinated developer and end-user requirements through planning and delivery. We also worked closely with the John Lewis Partnership and their interiors team to create the new format store interior.
