Ein wichtiges Projekt zur Entwicklung und Regeneration gemischter Nutzung im Stadtzentrum von Maidenhead.

Die Regeneration der Bestandsbebauung auf 5ha Brachland trägt maßgeblich zur  Umweltverbesserung in Maidenhead bei.

Die Neuentwicklung umfasst erdgeschossig einen 5.100 qm großen Supermarkt mit darüberliegendem Wohn- und  Bürokomplex über fünf Ebenen. Eine große Parklandschaft auf der Dachebene schließt die horzontale Gebäudeausdehnung ab.

Eine neugestaltete Piazza erschliesst den Öffentlichen Raum und verbindet neu angesiedelte Flächen für Gastronomie und für Start-Up-Unternehmen mit der Supermarkt-Ebene.

In enger Zusammenarbeit mit Sainsbury und der lokalen Baubehörde haben wir zunächst den Masterplan für die Regenaration erstellt.

Im Weiteren Verlauf des Projektes  haben wir für die HBG (heute BAM) diverse Planungsinformationen erstellt und die Baustellenüberwachung durchgeführt.

Im Rahmen von Einzelverträgen haben wir detaillierte Planungen für den Supermarkt und die Ausbauplanung für den Wohnungsbau-Komplex  geliefert.

A major mixed-use development and regeneration project in Maidenhead town centre for Sainsbury’s in partnership with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and Barratt Homes.

The development involved major environmental improvements to approximately 5 hectares of tired, worn out and inefficient land and buildings. Consisting of a 55,000 sq.ft supermarket (with basement servicing) sitting below new housing and screening five levels of parking. There’s also a new public piazza, complete with restaurant and business starter units at either end. The Piazza links the supermarket with a new office development.

Working closely with Sainsbury’s and the Local Authority, we initially created the masterplan for the redevelopment. We were then novated to HBG (now BAM), producing construction information and conducting site monitoring. Working under separate contracts, we also completed the supermarket and residential fit-outs.
